This project reimagines the dust covers for Sarah J. Maas’s Throne of Glass series, with the goal of capturing the epic scale, emotional depth, and evolving identity of its protagonist through a cohesive visual system. The redesign moves away from the original commercial fantasy look, opting instead for a more stained class and vector aesthetic that reflects the complexity of the series' themes — identity, power, and fate.
Inspired by stained glass work and minimalist symbolism, each cover features unique emblems representing key elements from the story, paired with a color palette that shifts in tone across the first three books. Typography was chosen to reflect the fantasy of the genre. This redesign challenged me to think about cohesion across a multi-book series, while creating covers that stand alone.
